Social Services

We understand that due to lack of qualifications and experience a large portion of Black and Ethnic minority migrants are unable to get highly paid employment.

Many are on low income, well below the national average and so have to rely on help from welfare benefits to supplement their income. With the continued rising cost of living in Britain more and more people are finding it difficult to maintain a reasonable standard of living.

Asylum seekers and refugees are most affected by this and sometimes face mental breakdown.

Like all our other services we offer Free and Confidential advice on all types of Benefits.

We will do our very best to support you or find someone who can.

We can help you on:

  • Welfare rights and benefits

  • Filling in application forms

  • Guidance on appeals

  • Referrals to CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) and other specialist organisations

  • Debt and legal issues

  • NHS health services

  • Older people issues

  • Family support

  • Child Tax credit

  • Unemployment benefits

  • Sickness benefits

  • Disability living allowance

  • Pension credit

If you are unemployed or facing unemployment then we can help you to find ways to get back to work. Help you write CV's and get you on courses to to give you better opportunities to find work.

There are also help available for people who can not work because of issues such as caring for others, disabilities, family commitments etc.
